Jimmy Jack Whitaker took the stage in February for a great Show at the QIA. He has written many songs for various artists and has performed for our Military Shows, inside prisons, street ministries and many churches across the USA.
The Blackwood Brothers came to the QIA. This quartet has been in the family name for over 60 years! What a joy to hear such wonderful voices. Take a look at some pictures and coverage on our Blackwood Brothers page!
Paul Winer has held concerts at the QIA to sell out crowds. He brought some very talented musicians with him too! Ralph Martin - Tub Bass; Jerry Mullins - Guitar & Vocals; Buddy Apfel - Trombone & Tubba; Will Pirone - Harmonica, all the way from Boston!
Paul was also accompanied by young female singer Morgan Mulac. A great concert was enjoyed by all at the QIA.
Belinda Gail came to the QIA on Jan 14 to a great crowd. The Quartzsite Search & Rescue Group was holding their annual Benefit Dinner and Belinda was the featured concert right after their dinner. A great Two for One Deal at the Q.
Belinda comes to Quartzsite with a wonderful track record - all the way up to "One of the Top 50 Country and Western Female Performers of all Time"! And she sure deserves it - it was a great concert and enjoyed by everyone!
The New Christy Minstrels played at the QIA on January 11, 2014, under the direction of the original founding leadership of Randy Sparks.
What a fantastic day - they performed 2 incredible shows to a very enthusiastic audience, each time! Take a look at our special New Christy Minstrels page - with lots of pictures!
Elvis came back to the Q!! He was alive and very well. He put on quite the show for several hundred fans. Amazingly - his voice, moves and appearance are still the same as we all remember. If you missed him this time at the Q, be sure to watch for his appearance next year!
But, for now - Elvis has left the building.......
A GREAT time was had by everyone at the Duke Michaels Concert and Dance! Duke and his partner Orin sure know how to put on a fabulous show.
They played quite a variety of songs and had people up dancing the entire night!
The finale was when Duke convinced Arlea (and then Claudia) to come up and help with leading everyone singing "Auld Lang Syne" at midnight. Just click a smaller picture to open the "Gallery"
Those who came out had a great treat with the show put on by Jack Jackson and his band. Please just click any of the above pictures to see them enlarged!
As you can quickly realize, we have lots of great and talented performers coming to the QIA this season. There is a great mix of Gospel singers, dance music performers, Recording artists and just great entertainers.
Please support your local Q and come out to several of our dances and, of course, some of the great shows concerts planned.
Some of these great performers had to be booked a year ago, just to guarantee that the QIA could get them for this season. A very special "Thanks" to Sandy Andreasen for being the Q's Special Events Coordinator!! She really put lots of time and effort into getting this all to come together for us!
